Join us in commemorating the grand reopening at 281 Clarence Street, Sydney. Gaffa Creative Precinct presents a bold new chapter as our eagerly awaited gallery reopens its doors. After months of anticipation, our heritage-listed, ex-police station venue has undergone a stunning restoration and rooftop extension.

Immerse yourself in the inaugural curated group exhibition of 2024, Gaffa Unveiled. This event promises to elevate your sonic senses as you ascend to our newly designed rooftop. Expect to see the likes of local and international talents-overlooking the heart of Sydney, in close proximity Town Hall station. An architectural marvel seamlessly blending the city's rich heritage with contemporary design, creating a unique space for cultural enrichment and artistic exploration.

Olivier Cong

Special Guest Performance

Hong Kong-based singer-songwriter and composer. After finishing his college studies in psychology, Cong has been working with varied forms of music and sound art, he is into exploring the texture of sounds and often experiments with the use of minimal musical structures.

He has composed for the Hong Kong Ballet, Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra and Shanghai Opera House, and has served as the music director for productions for West Kowloon Cultural district and Le French May Art Festival. Cong has worked with the K11 Art Foundation on art installations, and collaborated on feature film works with directors such as Tian Zhuang zhuang and Ann Hui.

Asta was born in Tasmania, a snowy island south of Australia. Introduced to the world after putting up a demo online at the age of 17, she quickly captured the attention of radio station Triple J and was crowned winner of the annual Unearthed High competition.

Her music is likened to Dua Lipa, filled with funk infused bass lines and a vocal range like no other. Performing with a three- piece band, her live show is euphoric and uplifting.

Now an ARIA-Certified Gold artist with production and vocal influences ranging between Gwen Stefani, Carley Ray Jepsen and Whitney, Asta’s vocal and pop writing abilities are unique and nostalgic to the ear.

Asta has achieved incredible success independently, recently hitting 30mil+ streams.

With extensive touring at home and abroad under her belt with the likes of pop artist Ellie Goulding, Cosmo’s Midnight & Allday.

Asta has collaborated with Set Mo, Luke Million, Purple Disco Machine, Allday and TA-KU to name a few.

The pop powerhouse has spent the last couple of years working on new music for her own project,
produced by Cosmo’s Midnight, Young Franco  + more.

Shake Daddy has had a BIG run over the past year in Sydney (Eora). She’s supported killer artists such as Skin on Skin, Willaris K, and recently KETTAMA. To top it all off, her single, ‘Oakley Sunnies’ released via Happy Wax Records(Naarm-based record label), shook us to the core and has become a ShakeDaddy anthem! Her extensive musical palette ranges from soulful Detroit House which her EP‘Roots’ explores, contrasted by her latest single ‘London’ giving us hard-hitting rave stabs delivered with thumping fast-paced kick drums.Shake Daddy’s progress is undeniable and her high-energy DJ sets are taking the nation by storm.

You may have heard of her through the mesmerising experience of Aphrodite, the monthly curated live event she passionately orchestrates through her events company, Veer East. Elsa's musical landscape effortlessly navigates the cross roads of Soul, R&B, and Jazz, infusing a breath of fresh air into Eora's vibrant artistic tapestry.

Join us in celebrating her artistry at Gaffa and stay tuned for her anticipated debut project that promises to be a captivating journey into the soul of her musical prowess.

E.T. Le créateur

E.T. Le Créateur is a D.R.Congo-born, Sydney-based songwriter, singer and music producer whose signature genre incorporates a mix of Afrobeats, House and Classical music. His unique sound encompasses all things mystical and pays homage to his interstellar origin.

Kase Avila is an Australian-Fillipino DJ, producer and all round creative from Sydney, Australia.
